Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Tamarac, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting day-to-day finance operations. Responsibilities:

- Accurately record financial transactions and maintain updated general ledger entries.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.

- Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.

- Prepare journal entries and ensure they are posted correctly into accounting systems.

- Utilize Quick Books Online to handle bookkeeping tasks efficiently and accurately.

- Generate periodic financial reports to support decision-making processes.

- Analyze financial records to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with established accounting standards.

- Maintain organized records for financial documentation and reporting purposes. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or related financial roles.

- Proficiency in Quick Books Online and other accounting software.

- Strong knowledge of general ledger management and financial principles.

- Experience with bank reconciliations and journal entries.

- Understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a contract position.
