Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role requires strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bookkeeping and accounting practices, ensuring accurate financial management.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, bank transactions, and cash or credit card payments.

- Ensure the timely preparation of weekly and monthly accounts payable and bank reports.

- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, purchasing activities, and inventory records on a monthly basis.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records to support financial operations.

- Collaborate with purchasing and service departments to oversee accounting and purchasing transactions.

- Manage the distribution and handling of incoming mail to facilitate smooth operations. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- At least 7 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

- Expertise in account reconciliation, including balance sheet and bank account reconciliations.

- Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

- Advanced knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping software.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
