Cemetery Controller; Construction Accounting

You’ll have full ownership of the financials behind complex construction builds—includ­ing mausoleums and family plot developments—while working independently in a role that requires precision, foresight, and strong project oversight.

• Manage all construction accounting related to cemetery plot development projects.
• Oversee job costing, Work‑In‑Progress (WIP), and full‑cycle accounting for both active and future projects.
• Gather cost data from prior builds to forecast pricing models that ensure project profitability.
• Simultaneously manage a minimum of 5 construction projects, each with budgets up to $20M (e.g., large mausoleums with multiple family plots).
• Monitor budgets, costs, and timelines to ensure financial accuracy across all phases of construction.
• Work autonomously—no direct reports, full ownership of the accounting function for these projects.

• Construction accounting experience is required.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large‑scale projects simultaneously.
• Hands‑on experience with WIP and job costing.
• 5+ years of full‑cycle accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
