Controller - PE-Backed Healthcare Services Company

A private equity–backed healthcare services organization is seeking a hands-on Controller to help strengthen and scale the accounting function during a period of growth. This role is ideal for a CPA with public accounting roots who enjoys owning the close, improving processes, and operating in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.

• Own the monthly close and financial reporting across multiple entities
• Ensure accurate, GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Maintain the general ledger, accounting policies, and internal controls
• Partner with finance leadership on variance analysis and reporting
• Support audits, tax coordination, and banking relationships
• Drive process improvements to support scalability

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA required
• 4+ years of experience
• Prior public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience owning the full close in a multi-entity or growing organization
• Comfortable in environments requiring urgency, accountability, and change
• Healthcare or services experience a plus, not required
• Netsuite and/or Quick Books experience preferred
