Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Schedule: On-Site | Monday – Friday
Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000 + Bonus

• Prepare and review financial documents, reports, and statements in compliance with GAAP and construction standards.
• Oversee month-end and quarterly close processes for accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow for ongoing construction operations.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
• Assist with tax filings, including multi-state sales & use tax returns.
• Provide senior management with financial reports to support strategic decisions.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare documentation for audits (W/C, Union, Year-end).
• Collaborate with property management and other departments for accurate financial tracking.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience in the construction industry. (MUST have)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and construction accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Viewpoint Vista, Microsoft Excel, and other financial tools.
• Experience with Sales & Use tax, audits, and Union Benefits Payroll is a huge plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
