Senior Corporate Accountant - Construction

Compensation: Up to $125,000 base + 15% bonus + excellent benefits

A high growth national construction platform is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to support risk based accounting, insurance programs, and financial reporting across large scale construction projects.

This is a highly visible corporate role offering direct exposure to executive leadership and a clear path toward Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, and Controller level positions.

• Maintain and update monthly accounting schedules related to insurance and risk programs
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Review and process insurance related invoices and reports
• Support forecasting and reserving for contractual risk items
• Reconcile intercompany transactions for captive insurance entities
• Assist with annual audit preparation and financial reporting
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5 to 7 years of accounting experience
• Construction industry experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with insurance, bonding, and risk accounting programs such as CCIP, SDI, and captive insurance
• Strong Excel skills. Advanced proficiency preferred
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies
• Clear communication and ability to collaborate cross functionally
