Tax Manager

Overview

Kforce's client, a growing midsize CPA firm in Plantation, Florida, seeks a Tax Manager. In this role, there is a track to becoming a Partner. This firm offer a good work life balance along with the opportunity to advance, very good benefits, Summer Fridays, and an annual bonus!

• Preparation/review of complex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
• Preparation/review of high-net-worth individual returns
• Review of C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
• Review of complex individual returns
• Research and draft memorandum involving tax matters
• Identify tax planning opportunities
• Handle and resolve tax controversies
• Training and supervision of staff

• Accounting degree or similar
• CPA
• 6 + years of public accounting tax experience for mainly corporations & Partnerships;
  Individual tax experience is a big plus
• Prior experience in managing and leading teams, demonstrating effective leadership abilities
• Pass-thru experience (with S Corp and Partnerships) and account management
• Experience with 1031's exchanges, 754 step-up, special income allocation & M&A is preferred
• Proficient project management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
• Outstanding collaboration, communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Industry experience with real estate, retail, construction is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
