Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a motivated Staff Accountant to join our team in Davie, Florida. This is a Contract position ideal for candidates eager to develop their skills and grow professionally within the accounting field. The role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to handling various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.

- Prepare and post journal entries with precision and accuracy.

- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.

- Handle invoicing tasks, ensuring timely and accurate billing.

- Conduct account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial integrity.

- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting operations.

- Assist in preparing financial documents and reports.

- Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

- Up to 5 years of accounting experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

- Familiarity with journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.

- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.

- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team.
