The Senior GL Accountant plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the organization. This position supports core accounting operations, including the transition and integration of FP&A accrual processes into the accounting function. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving processes and internal controls within a dynamic software company environment.

• Lead the transition of FP&A accrual processes into accounting, including ownership of booking, documentation, and process streamlining.
• Prepare and maintain reconciliations between sub-ledger and general ledger systems.
• Prepare non-recurring and recurring journal entries on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts on a monthly and/or quarterly cadence, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with the accounting team to identify, support, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain and continuously improve existing internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist with month-end close and other ad hoc projects as needed.
