Tax Manager – Private Client Services

• Provide high level individual, trust, estate, gift and foundation tax compliance and estate planning advisory services.
• Review individual, trust, estate, gift and foundation returns and fiduciary accountings.
• Handle Federal and State tax notices and audits.
• Research tax laws, prepare memorandums on technical topics, and develop tax savings strategies.
• Manage all aspects of client accounts and foster client relationships.
• Analyze estate planning related legal documents.
• Engage in business development, including networking, public speaking and authoring Trust and Estate related articles.
• Manage team members, monitor workload, provide training and assistance.
• Stay current on new tax legislation.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university;
  Master’s in Taxation a plus.
• 7+ years progressive tax experience in public accounting.
• Active CPA license or EA designation.
• Extensive experience in Tax Advisory and Estate/Trust planning and compliance.
• Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience reviewing fiduciary, gift and estate tax returns.
• Preferred experience with Axcess Tax, CCH Pro System fx Engagement and BNA.
• Experience with research software and memo writing.
• Willingness to work additional hours to meet client deliverables.
• Must have access to a car/public transportation and be willing to travel locally as needed.

Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills, and certifications.
