As a Staff Accountant your position is essential in preparing and maintaining financial records to track the organization assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other financial activities.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- At least two years of related experience required.
- Computer Literate.
- Performs general accounting and other related duties.
- Maintains the general ledger.
- Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Monthly reconciliation of credit card and petty cash accounts.
- Record payroll expenses.
- Assist in month end and year end closing activities.
- Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
- Additional tasks and duties as assigned.
- Adept in Quick Books Desktop and Quick Books Online.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar software, and accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
- Understanding of and the ability to adhere to accepted accounting principles.
