Performance Expert (R2PC) - Fort Hood, Texas
K is seeking a Performance Expert to strengthen the physical and psychological health, resilience, and performance of Soldiers, Unit Leaders, Families, and civilians at Army installations. The role focuses on optimizing mental and physical health and sustaining Army training and education programs across installations.
Responsibilities- Instruct individuals in holistic approaches to strength, conditioning, and resilience to ensure durability; conduct training intake/registration, develop training plans, prepare and distribute course material, facilitate training events, grade course materials, and document grades in required databases.
- Assess training impact by distributing surveys at the close of each activity, provide survey results, and summarize activities in After‑Action Reviews (AARs) within five working days of completion; submit quarterly reports with data analyses.
- Provide instruction geared toward resilience and performance enhancement, linking training to unit missions and higher‑level guidance; develop and deliver training on communication, counseling, critical thinking, and mental skills to build professional climates and empower leaders.
- Work as part of a team to deliver tailored educational programs and workshops that help personnel achieve personal, professional, and family goals in demanding environments.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, Coaching Education, or Kinesiology with emphasis in sport and/or performance psychology.
- Teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military and DOD personnel.
- Thorough knowledge of Army organizational structure, mission objectives, functions, procedures, regulations, and policy.
- Evaluation and certification prior to performing tasks to ensure effective delivery.
- Certifications or memberships within a professional association related to the field such as AASP, CMPC, or ABSP, or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
