Per Diem Med Surg Telemetry RN - Fort Dodge, IA - Nights - $56 Hourly
Shift: Nights, 8- or 12-hour shifts
Job Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients and their families. Maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses, Philosophy of Nursing at our organization within the structure of the Professional Nurse Practice Model and in collaboration with other care givers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in a Med Surg Telemetry setting per unit standards and policies.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to changes, and document outcomes accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues to ensure coordinated care.
- Adhere to nursing practice standards and maintain professional competencies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of PCU, Stepdown or Telemetry experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- IA State or Compact License in good standing
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
Pay Info: Taxable Hourly Rate: $56
