Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Fort Dodge, Iowa. The ideal candidate will have strong pediatric clinical experience, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate flexibility by floating to General Medical-Surgical units as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, family-centered nursing care to pediatric patients
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and manage pediatric treatments
- Utilize Vapotherm therapy in pediatric care settings
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies
- Float to General Medical-Surgical units when required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Pediatric RN experience
- At least one completed travel nursing contract
- Pediatric Vapotherm experience (required)
- Must be comfortable floating to General Med-Surg
- Active Iowa RN License at time of submission (Compact license accepted)
Certification Requirements
- BLS – AHA or American Red Cross
- ACLS – AHA
- PALS – AHA
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
