Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a rehab contract with required outpatient experience and EPIC EMR proficiency.

• Work in both outpatient clinic (4 days/week) and acute care settings (1 day/week)
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 8 hours per day
• Potential to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses EPIC for electronic medical records; EPIC experience required
• Orientation provided weekly on Mondays
• Role is part of an interdisciplinary team contributing clinical knowledge and skills in patient care
• Opportunity to work limited acute care weekends if desired, with focus on ortho, neuro, and safety discharge patients
• Not open to local candidates; candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are accepted with completion of at least one previous travel contract preferred
• Professional reference from a supervisor within the last 24 months is preferred

• Active PT license required if applicable;
  Iowa license or proof of application accepted
• At least 1 year of recent Physical Therapist experience required
• Outpatient experience required; inpatient experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Driver’s license required
• Minimum of 24 months current PT experience documented in work history/resume
• Skills checklist specific to Physical Therapist required
