Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer – Days Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $35.00 – $50.00 (based on experience)
- Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
- Relocation Bonus: $5,000
- Shift Type: Days
- Shift Times: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday
- Weekend Requirements: None
- On-Call Requirements: None
We are seeking a motivated and self-starting Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join a dynamic, collaborative team. This role is ideal for a professional who can manage patient schedules efficiently, deliver high-quality imaging, and maintain effective communication with radiologists and healthcare team members.
This position offers the opportunity to provide patient-centered care across all age groups while contributing to departmental goals and supporting students during clinical procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform a full range of ultrasound exams, including procedural scans, in accordance with standards of practice.
- Maintain accurate records, statistics, and adequate supply levels for the Ultrasound department.
- Evaluate and recommend updates to ultrasound policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Deliver age-appropriate care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Instruct, mentor, and support students during clinical procedures.
- Support departmental goals through professional conduct, resource awareness, and collaboration.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Ultrasound department.
- Graduated from an accredited Ultrasound / Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- ARDMS – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- CPR Certification
- Minimum 1–2 years of ultrasound experience required
- Experience performing procedural scans is preferred
