Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer – Days Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $35.00 – $50.00 (based on experience)
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
  • Relocation Bonus: $5,000
  • Shift Type: Days
  • Shift Times: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday
  • Weekend Requirements: None
  • On-Call Requirements: None
Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and self-starting Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join a dynamic, collaborative team. This role is ideal for a professional who can manage patient schedules efficiently, deliver high-quality imaging, and maintain effective communication with radiologists and healthcare team members.

This position offers the opportunity to provide patient-centered care across all age groups while contributing to departmental goals and supporting students during clinical procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform a full range of ultrasound exams, including procedural scans, in accordance with standards of practice.
  • Maintain accurate records, statistics, and adequate supply levels for the Ultrasound department.
  • Evaluate and recommend updates to ultrasound policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Deliver age-appropriate care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Instruct, mentor, and support students during clinical procedures.
  • Support departmental goals through professional conduct, resource awareness, and collaboration.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Ultrasound department.
Requirements Education
  • Graduated from an accredited Ultrasound / Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
Licensure / Certification
  • ARDMS – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • CPR Certification
Experience
  • Minimum 1–2 years of ultrasound experience required
  • Experience performing procedural scans is preferred
