Senior Engineering Project Manager
Join the Nestlé Purina North America corporate engineering team at our Fort Dodge, IA project site. In this role you will represent the company by managing complex capital projects end‑to‑end, ensuring project scope, cost, schedule, and quality are achieved.
Responsibilities- Lead the development of pre‑project approval documents (project charter, management plan, kickoff, estimate, milestone schedule).
- Apply full understanding of design scope to coordinate bid package development, evaluate and select construction firms, and release for field execution.
- Direct and execute installation, construction, and commissioning of assigned projects.
- Monitor work output of project engineers and facilitate effective communication between engineering disciplines, standards, operations, technical stakeholders, and safety leaders.
- Ensure design progress and deliverables meet established project key components, specifications, and requirements.
- Manage adherence to project milestones and scope; secure approvals for all changes using engineering ways of working methodology and risk mitigation.
- Control the project budget, including cost forecasts, cash flow projections, resource allocation, and regular reporting.
- Provide construction management and plant startup assistance as needed to ensure successful project execution and hand‑off.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field with 10+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment.
- OR High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 12+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment.
- End‑to‑end management of complex capital projects in food and beverage manufacturing over $75 million per project budget.
- Post‑graduate degree in Business, Engineering Management or related field.
- PMP certification.
- People leadership and development experience.
- Flexibility to travel and/or relocate as needed.

The approximate pay range for this position is $155,000 - $196,000 per year.
