Community Christian School is seeking a part‑time K‑8 Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our Christ‑centered learning community. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among students while integrating Christian values into daily instruction.
Responsibilities- Teach physical education classes to students in multiple grade levels
- Develop age‑appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote fitness, motor skills, and teamwork
- Encourage positive sportsmanship, cooperation, and personal growth
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment
- Collaborate with staff and participate in school events as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, K–12 Education, or related field preferred
- Experience teaching PE to children in elementary and/or middle school preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to Christian education and the mission of Community Christian School
- A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and agreement with the mission and values of Community Christian School
- Ability to model Christian character and integrate faith into classroom instruction
- Applicant must agree with the school's Statement of Faith.
Part‑time during the school year; specific hours and days to be decided.
