PRN for Med-Surg Unit (MSU). EXCELLENT Staffing Ratios:
Non Covid: typically 4:1, max 5:1. Covid patients: typically 2:1, max 3:1.Required

Certifications:

American Heart Association BLS and ACLS. PALS is preferred

Experience:

Three (3) years of med-surg experience, 1 year pediatric experience preferred, MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH BOTH ADULT AND PEDIATRIC PATIENTS. Setting: 20 bed medical surgical unit for adults and pediatrics

Shift: 12 hour shifts with No guaranteed hour.

Housing:
Information can be found under the 'Facility Group Document' section. Orientation: on Mondays only - If your traveler misses the compliance deadline, they will be pushed to the following scheduled New Employee Orientation.

Other:
Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or could be task-oriented such as answering call lights, phones, etc

Shift: 12 hour shifts (Days/Nights) with No Guaranteed Hours.
