If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our healthcare partner's team in a 20-bed medical surgical unit. This role offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients across different age groups while working in a supportive and flexible setting.
As a Registered Nurse in the Med-Surg Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients. You will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring the best outcomes for your patients.
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a 20-bed unit
- Maintain excellent staffing ratios:
Non-COVID patients typically 4:1, max 5:1; COVID patients typically 2:1, max 3:1 - Participate in flu immunization clinics and attend staff meetings as needed
- Float to other departments as qualified, performing tasks such as answering call lights and phones
- Ensure compliance with American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Attend orientation on Mondays and maintain flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
