Job Description:
Registered Nurse needed for Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care in a BFHI environment (babies room-in with mothers). Unit averages 40 deliveries/month and 6 C-sections/month. May occasionally cover Charge Nurse duties after training.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care in a healthcare setting (more may be required in some cases).
Shift:
12-Hour Day Shift. Must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Certifications:
- AHA ACLS OR ALSO
- AHA BLS
- NRP
- AWHONN Advanced FHM (RNC-EFM may substitute)
Other:
Travelers may float to qualified departments. May take patient assignments (if competent) or assist with task-based duties (call lights, phones, etc.).
