City/State: Fort Defiance, Arizona

Shift: 12-Hour Day shift. Must be flexible, to work other shifts, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Contract Length: 12.00-3

Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for L&D, Post Partum rooms, BFHI, babies room in with moms -- average 40 deliveries per month, average 6 C-sections per month. May have to cover as charge nurse, after charge nurse training, on occasion.

Responsibilities:

• Cover Labor & Delivery and Postpartum rooms
• Assist with 40 deliveries and 6 C-sections per month
• Act as charge nurse as needed after training
• Float to other departments as needed

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum and Newborn in a healthcare setting
• American Heart Association ACLS OR ALSO, BLS, NRP AND AWHONN Advanced FHM required
• May substitute RNC-EFM for AWHONN FHM
• Travelers are expected to float to other qualified departments
