DIESEL MECHANIC

Join United Rentals Life as a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III) and work on the world’s largest equipment rental fleet. As a Service Technician, you will perform maintenance and repair on complex rental equipment, advance your career, and deliver exceptional customer service.

• Safely maintain and repair a variety of complex rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Assist in training lower‑level technicians as needed
• Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner daily
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer‑owned equipment; maintain a clean, professional service vehicle
• Assist with pick‑up and delivery of equipment and parts
• Other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• 3‑5 years of experience repairing and maintaining equipment and tools
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and strong knowledge of tools
• Strong mechanical background with various engines
• Own the tools applicable to the position
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 45 lb frequently

USD 26.85 - 38.70 per hour
