The Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to join its collaborative, dynamic and innovative team. This part‑time position will act as a front desk connector between the Chamber’s resources and the businesses that drive our local economy. We are not just a front desk—we are the hub of the organization.

Experience:

Connection & Growth
  • First‑Touch Membership Support:
    Act as the initial guide for prospective members, identifying their needs and introducing them to the value of the Chamber.
  • Resource Curation:
    Whether a visitor needs data, networking information, or business advocacy resources, ensuring they leave with the right solution.
  • Lead Generation & Intake:
    Support the Membership team by capturing interest from walk‑ins and callers, playing a vital role in our organization’s growth.
  • Member Advocacy:
    Ensure every interaction reinforces our role as a Champion for business. Welcome Coordinators are the conveners who begin the relationship.
  • Modern Toolset:
    Utilize Microsoft 365 Suite and our Member Database to track interactions, ensuring the “hub” is organized, data‑driven, and highly efficient.
  • Aesthetic Environment:
    Maintain a modern, high‑energy lobby and building environment which reflects the innovative spirit of the Fort Collins business community.

Qualifications
  • A proven track record of excellence in customer‑facing roles
  • Ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional manner.
  • Excellent self‑management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills including experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of the Northern Colorado region and business community and experience in interacting with this market.
  • Ability to coordinate resources, including people, money, and technology, to produce high‑quality experiences that benefit the staff, the membership, and the community.
Compensation
  • $16‑$17/hour; 15 hours a week
