Retail Associate – Crystal Joys

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for overall store operations with an emphasis on customer service and sales. Additionally, this position may support production, inventory, packing and shipping, or other duties as assigned.

• Maintain and run a retail store environment independently, sometimes with others
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers and community members
• Maintain a positive and cheerful demeanor, greeting customers and offering help as needed
• Research and stay informed about new store products, sharing knowledge with customers during the sale process
• Employ a sales-focused mindset to achieve store and bonus metrics, if applicable
• Maintain store displays in good condition and assist with day-to-day maintenance
• Assist with inventory tasks including restocking, pricing, labeling, and organizing
• Use the POS system effectively and navigate the platform smoothly
• Implement opening, closing, and daily duties, including register maintenance
• Process payments, including cash and credit cards, and manage the cash drawer accurately
• Work in various store locations if necessary
• Assist in packing and shipping online orders and deliver them to post office or dropbox as needed
• Fulfill online orders and/or provide oversight of online sales platforms as requested
• Participate in product production when requested
• Respond to verbal and written communication from supervisors in a timely manner
• Work in full alignment with company policies and procedures

• Must be at least 16 years of age (exceptions may be made per applicable state laws)
• Ability to work on various technology platforms, including POS systems, email, and scheduling software
• Previous retail experience is beneficial, though not required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate and basic math skills
• Available to work on weekends and holidays
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to fulfill all physical demands of the position as indicated by Crystal Joys
