This position requires a strong leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven work environment. The role will ensure the store and its crew deliver a world‑class customer experience to every customer through proper training and execution of our company customer service and operational standards. You will be the 2nd Assistant Manager in the store, trained in handling all management‑related processes and serving as the leader and ambassador of the Customer Service Experience at your store.

• Setting Others Up for Success:
  Ensure the store crew is trained and prepared to meet position expectations. Coach and inspire crew members regularly, participate in interviewing, hiring, selection, development and management, and ultimately set crew members up for success.
• Instilling the Importance of Customer Service:
  Training focuses on serving customers and fulfilling our mission one customer at a time. Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and ensure execution.
• Achieving Operational Excellence:
  Partner with the management team to ensure all processes and tasks, from A to Z, are managed effectively and efficiently. Critical areas include inventory management, shrink management, financial targets, policy compliance, marketing promotions, merchandising & signage, quality standards, and store/crew safety & security.
• Leadership & Professionalism:
  Demonstrate integrity, intent, capabilities, results and a commitment to care. Maintain professional communication, mentor department managers, partner with fellow store leaders to complete objectives, and create a positive store culture.
• Rolling Up Your Sleeves:
  Receive training on all aspects of store operations and work with the crew in all departments, including Body Care, Dairy/Frozen, Grocery, Produce, Receiving and Vitamins. Light cleaning duties may be required.
• Getting the Job Done:
  Full schedule availability is required, including evenings and weekends.
• Moving on Up:
  The position offers insight into store operations and opportunities to inspire and lead others, preparing you for advancement both in the store and in the store support center.

• Must obtain forklift certification.
