• Greet Guests with a warm welcome and a smile, delivering exceptional customer service
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, coaching, setting clear goals, and ensuring accountability
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor, rotate stock, and keep product levels full
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs in locations that offer hot food
• Maintain store cleanliness interior and exterior, including coffee station, food service area, and restrooms
• Operate the cash register efficiently
• Assist Store Manager in locations with hot food by overseeing quality control, merchandising, safety programs, and other guidelines; perform other duties as assigned

During training, Managers In Training work with Training Managers and Supervising Managers, rotating shifts to learn about the company, the retail team, vendors, and guests. They support the Store Manager and team to deliver an exceptional guest experience. After training, they join the bench leadership team and may fill in during absences until assigned to their own store.

Minimum Education: High School or GED

Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience

Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service, or restaurant in a leadership role

Licenses/Certifications:

Serv Safe / Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory

Soft Skills:

• Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members

• Computer skills are helpful

This position is full-time with a variety of hours, including days, nights, and weekends. EG America locations may be open 24 hours depending on the store. Weekend and holiday hours are required.

Hours &

Conditions:

40 regular hours maximum with up to 5 hours overtime

Travel: 5%. Ability to deliver deposits to the bank independently where applicable and have a vehicle to do so

Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver and lift up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 40 pounds occasionally. Ability to stand/walk 8 hours daily; ability to bend, reach, twist, and work in a cooler. Moderate noise level

Other: Specialized attire required in food establishments (hats or visors, gloves, etc. provided)
