Description UCHealth in Fort Collins, CO seeks an Onsite role in the Accel Staffing Dvlpmnt Prog. This is a full-time position (80 hours per pay period) with a day shift. Pay range: $22.75 - $35.26 per hour, dependent on relevant experience. This role is onsite with no hybrid or remote option. Career ladder available for growth in skills, responsibilities, and pay.
SummaryAs supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Responsibilities- Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
- Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and reactions to interventions.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

- Essential:
Basic Life Support - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Minimum Education:
Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program - Licensure/Certification:
State licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse (LVN); BLS Healthcare Provider; relevant certification as determined at position level - Minimum Experience:

- BLS or CPR card must be current through at least 60 days after start date.
