The Tinning Technician is responsible for assembling thin gauge steel on buildings around windows, vents and doors.

• Ability to measure building to make precise cuts using electric tin snips, handheld tin snips, screw guns and razor blades for proper fit.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to lift heavy items on and off a ladder.
• Safety conscious.
• Ability to problem solve.
• A willingness to cross train and assist in other shop functions as needed.

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to learn technical aspects of assigned responsibilities quickly.
• Self‑motivated with good time management skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1‑year plus in manufacturing environment.

• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally; prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking/sitting; manual dexterity and mobility; considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching; visual and auditory acuity.
• Working Conditions:
  
  Shop and office, potentially a high‑stress environment with prolonged hours; significant time spent in a manufacturing environment.
