Loader Operator; Asphalt Plant - Triangle

Fred Smith Company is currently searching for an experienced Loader Operator for our Triangle Asphalt Plants. We are a self‑perform heavy civil contractor working in North Carolina. Pay will be commensurate with experience; all employees are eligible after 90 days for benefits such as health, dental and vision insurance and paid time off.

• Two or more years experience with moving and/or loading material utilizing a loader
• Ability to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to climb
• Must not be afraid of heights
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen

• Follow all company safety policies, including taking specific action to avoid other workers, other equipment, potential obstructions and marked/unmarked utility lines.
• Operate equipment efficiently and follow instructions of on‑site management.
• Follow all equipment monitoring and maintenance requirements.
