Job Details:

• Based at Banner Fort Collins Medical Center with expected floating to other Med/Surg units at NCMC or Loveland Campus as needed

• Must be proficient in caring for Med/Surg patients

• Must verify ability to read and monitor telemetry

• Every other weekend and holiday shifts per unit rotation required

• Varied work schedule with opening availability

• Current valid RN license in state of practice required

• BLS certification required

• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required

• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies

• Provide direct patient care including physical, psychological, social, spiritual assessments

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members

• Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members

• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in medical records

• Participate in patient education and family teaching

• May be required to lift up to 75 pounds

• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to Med/Surg area
