    Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM; every other Wednesday 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM;
    Sunday – Tuesday 11:30 AM – 12:00 AM;
    Thursday – Saturday 11:30 AM – 12:00 AM; each other Wednesday 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Shift differentials are available for evenings, nights, weekends and holidays at 24/7 locations.
Role Overview

Responsible for providing first‑line response to escalated clients and incidents across our programs and facilities, responding to safety codes, and handling urgent/emergent situations quickly in a professional and trauma‑informed manner in line with SHP policies, procedures, values, and philosophy of care.

Essential Duties
  • Engage with clients to support healthy engagement, manage interpersonal conflict, and prevent escalation.
  • Provide first‑line responses to escalated clients and incidents at 24/7 facilities or other sites.
  • Assist staff in assessing potentially dangerous situations and intervene to prevent escalation into violence.
  • Perform verbal de‑escalation and physical management/control techniques for emotionally, verbally, or physically aggressive individuals.
  • Contact and assist law enforcement and emergency health care personnel when required.
  • Transport or support during transportation of escalated clients or clients in crisis.
  • Participate in safety drills across Summit Stone facilities.
Required
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required
License and Certifications
  • Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record required.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications required.
Highly Desired
  • More than two years of experience working in a behavioral health setting or programs preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as safety, security, or first responder preferred.
  • Bilingual/bi‑cultural preferred.
