• Status: full time, 40 hours per week

  Monday - Friday, evening and weekend shifts required

Employment Specialist position to provide community-based supported employment services to adults with behavioral health disorders so that they may achieve vocational and recovery goals. Responsible for implementation of evidence-based IPS Supported Employment methods including job development and placement, job coaching, and ongoing support after employment. Coordination with clinical, case management, and family of supports is essential to long‑term success of the job seeker.

• Job development and placement; job coaching; and support planning of clubhouse members and various employment programs.
• Counsel individuals regarding employment‑related issues, including benefits counseling and advising for education or technical and career planning.
• Community-based services, marketing, and advocacy to assist individuals in job seeking, gaining, and maintaining employment.
• Coordination of support services with mental health providers, family, and other personal supports.
• Strengths-based goal planning and evaluation.
• Utilize teamwork to coordinate Clubhouse unit work and social/recreational activities.
• Job coaching and on‑the‑job training.
• Advising for education or technical training and career planning.
• Program evaluation for program fidelity of Clubhouse standards and IPS supported employment evidence-based best practices.
• Provide a variety of transportation services including driving agency vans and a 14 passenger coach for daily shuttle services to/from program, job development (with and without individuals), community support, and social activities/events.
• Documentation using medical records system, and MS operating systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required.
• Experience in the behavioral health field preferred.
• Experience coordinating mental health intervention plans and services with other agencies preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be evaluated and considered.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record required.
• Bilingual/bi-cultural.
