SFC Northern Colorado LLC dba Sticky Fingers Cooking® of Northern Colorado is looking to hire part-time After School Children's Cooking Teacher to help us Cultivate COOLinary Curiosity in Kids®!

If you're passionate about cooking, have experience working with kids, and are looking for a fun, flexible, and meaningful part-time job, we want to meet you! Applications will be accepted until 01/31/26.

• Lead hour-long healthy and engaging cooking enrichment classes for students at on-site locations in your area.
• Create weekly creative recipes and teach children about new ingredients and healthy foods from around the world in an engaging, hands-on way.
• Review weekly class curricula and prepare for instruction, including shopping independently for fresh ingredients.
• Teach basic kitchen skills (washing, cutting, grating, stirring, measuring) and discuss nutrition, history, geography, and language behind each recipe.
• Interact with children, parents, and school staff; serve as the face of the company during classes.
• Foster safe, inclusive classroom environments and encourage healthy eating habits.

• Availability at least 2 days a week (Monday - Friday, between 2-5 pm)
• Commitment to teaching full sessions (ranging from 4-12 weeks)
• Serv Safe Food Handler Certification (can obtain before teaching)
• Ability to manage and engage a group of 8-14 children with diverse backgrounds and academic levels
• Access to reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate with our team in a timely manner
• Punctual and reliable
• No professional cooking experience required
• Experience working with kids of varying ages is a plus

As a part-time After School Children's Cooking Instructor, you interact with children aged 3-18, parents, and school staff each week. You work on-site at different locations in your area, leading hour-long cooking classes that focus on healthy, engaging enrichment.

Each week, you create creative recipes and teach about new ingredients and healthy foods from around the world in a hands-on way. You review weekly class curricula and prepare for instruction, including shopping for fresh ingredients. You teach basic kitchen skills and discuss the history, geography, and language behind each recipe.

Kids learn in a dynamic hands-on environment while you provide direction and encouragement to create new recipes. You help teach healthy food habits that nourish bodies and minds.

Our dedicated, talented, and creative team has been cultivating 'cool'inary curiosity for thousands of children in online classes, schools, camps, and events since 2008. We offer quality enrichment cooking classes before, during, and after school, as well as birthday parties, private cooking classes, and camps for children 3-18 years old. Sticky Fingers Cooking® also operates in select cities across the country.
