Job Description

Position Summary:

The School of Education seeks applications from individuals who are interested in securing temporary instructor positions within the Educator Preparation program for the  academic year. Instructors teach undergraduate pre-service teaching courses in one or more areas of;
* PreK – Grade 3:
Early Childhood Education
* Kindergarten – Grade 12:
Art, Foreign Languages, Instructional Technology;
Music
* Secondary – Grades 7-12:
Agricultural Education, Business Education, English, Family and Consumer Studies, Marketing Education, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Speech, Technology Education.

Desirable candidates can teach these courses face-to-face, online, on-campus, and in local schools in areas of their expertise and are hired periodically for fall, spring, and/or summer term, contingent upon enrollments and need. Job Qualifications:

* Earned masters degree in education or a related field
* P-12 teaching license and/or a minimum of 3 years professional work experience in P-12 teaching or administration.## Preferred

Job Qualifications:

* Earned doctorate degree in education or a related field
* Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students using face-to-face and distance technologies
* Evidence of successful collaboration with public school teachers and administrators
* Experience in course development
* Evidence of or potential for scholarship and publication commensurate with a research university (high research activity)## Application Instructions:
