College Ave Modern Dental is an established general dentistry clinic located in Fort Collins near the CSU college campus. We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join us full-time
, Monday-Thursday
. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in both front and back office operations. In this role, you will work as a Dental Assistant a couple of days per week and a Dental Patient Coordinator the other 2 days. Our ideal Dental Assistant will have 1+ years of experience working in a general dentistry clinic and have a background in treatment planning and insurance verification.

Schedule:Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm
Compensation:$22-$26/hr, plus bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:
- Genuinely welcome patients into the practice
- Schedule patient appointments, keeping the doc and hygienist's schedules full
- Send appointment reminders, collect payments and call on outstanding balances
- Verify insurance, discuss financing options with patients
- Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
- A thorough review and update of the patient's health history
- Sterilization of instruments according to OSHA regulations
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed for each operatory
- Assist the dentist chairside
- Provide post-operative instructions
- Create, present and enter treatment plans into Denticon
- Stock and order supplies
Qualifications:
- Active CPR Certification required
- X-Ray Certification Required
- 1+ year(s) of experience in general dentistry preferred
- Experience with insurance verification and treatment planning preferred
- Dental Assistant Certification preferred
