Larimer County Solid Waste is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administrative Coordinator to join our team!

The typical schedule for this full time position is Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm.

What you'll be doing:
  • May provide first-level supervision of administrative staff and operations, including assigning and reviewing work, supporting training, participating in hiring, evaluating performance, and approving time off.
  • Develops and maintains office systems, processes, forms, and standard operating procedures while ensuring compliance with department policies.
  • Oversees records management for both digital and physical files, including records schedules, archiving, and imaging activities.
  • Answers and directs calls and visitors, dispatches service calls and personnel, tracks fees, monitors response levels and customer satisfaction, and assists with complex customer inquiries.
What we're looking for:
  • Five (5) years of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required.
  • Knowledge of records management regulations, processes, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of general office procedures and administrative practices.
  • Proficiency with standard business software, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and databases.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow department and County rules, regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures.
