Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Fort Collins, Colorado. This role requires an individual with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and data entry, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be proficient in Quick Books and other accounting tools, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and efficiency.

- Perform accurate data entry to maintain financial records and update databases.

- Handle invoice processing and ensure timely payments to vendors.

- Utilize Quick Books and Sage 50 software for accounting tasks and reconciliations.

- Review and verify financial documents for completeness and accuracy.

- Communicate effectively with customers and vendors to resolve billing and payment inquiries.

- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as required.

- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and workflows.

- Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing purposes.

- Provide excellent customer service while addressing financial-related inquiries. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and Sage 50 accounting software.

- Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.

- Familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Solid customer service skills for resolving inquiries.

- Ability to work effectively in a contract role and adapt to changing priorities.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
