The Material Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the movement, accountability, and documentation of Army equipment and materiel at a contractor‑managed equipment turn‑in site. The role ensures smooth flow of equipment through the turn‑in process, compliance with Army supply regulations and contract requirements, and accurate updates to logistics systems. The Material Coordinator works closely with supply, warehousing, and transportation staff to ensure all equipment is received, classified, staged, and processed for accountability and disposition.

Responsibilities
  • Material Coordination & Turn‑In Support: coordinate receipt, staging, and movement of equipment turned in by Army units; ensure proper sequencing & prioritization; track status of turn‑ins; support high‑volume operations by managing workflow & resources.
  • Documentation & Records Management: review & validate supply documents (DA Form 1348‑1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts, condition codes); ensure timely & accurate data entry into Army systems (GCSS‑Army, DPAS, or LMP); maintain logs, spreadsheets, reports for daily, weekly, monthly activity; support audit readiness.
  • Warehousing & Material Handling Support: coordinate with warehouse staff for storage/location management and retrieval; ensure proper tagging, labeling, segregation of serviceable, unserviceable, and HAZMAT items; monitor availability and safe use of material handling equipment.
  • Transportation Coordination: schedule & track incoming/outgoing shipments; prepare cargo movement requests, shipping documentation, load plans per Army & DTR standards; ensure accountability during loading, movement, offloading.
  • Customer & Army Unit Support: assist unit supply personnel during turn‑in to resolve documentation discrepancies; serve as liaison between contractor site staff, Army units, and the Contracting Officer’s Representative; provide responsive customer service while maintaining compliance.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Associate’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of logistics, supply, or materiel management experience.
  • Prior U.S. Army or contractor experience in equipment turn‑in or supply support activities (SSA) strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Army supply regulations: AR 710‑2, AR 735‑5, DA PAM 710‑2‑1.
  • Experience with Army logistics systems: GCSS‑Army, DPAS, LMP, TC‑AIMS II.
  • Familiarity with Army documentation and condition coding requirements.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability in a high‑volume environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to read, interpret, and process Army supply documentation.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills with Army units and contractor staff.
  • Ability to operate or coordinate safe use of MHE.
  • A REAL  be required.
  • Must have a Colorado driving license with proof of vehicle insurance.
  • 75% travel required.
