The Facilities Maintenance Laborer performs tasks which require mainly physical abilities and effort involving little or no specialized skills primarily in the Collections & Distribution Shop.

• Assists in general maintenance and minor repair tasks including but not limited to performing inspections of AST’s (Above ground Storage Tanks), Grease Traps, O.W.S. (Oil Water Separators), conducting cyclical inventory of property items, assisting shop personnel as needed as well as all other duties as assigned.

• High School or Equivalent
• 1 year experience in trades fields
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work on‑call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
• Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around various hazards with appropriate PPE.
