Position: Aircraft Mechanic I - SOATB MH-6 team with Security Clearance

ATS is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic I to work in Fort Campbell, KY. The Aircraft Mechanic I serves on the SOATB MH-6 team and will support maintenance and launch/recovery operations on the flight line. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

Responsibilities
  • Repair and replace aircraft components, troubleshoot faults, rig flight controls, adjust rotor system track and balance, and complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as required to support flight operations both at home station and on TDY trips.
  • Perform maintenance as instructed in technical publications and IETMS.
  • Use hand tools, special tools, calibrated tools, and specialized test kits to maintain and troubleshoot aircraft systems.
  • Read schematics, interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and methods of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
  • Work independently at home station and while TDY at remote locations.
  • Perform administrative actions related to aircraft forms and records on systems such as ACN, Hydra, GCSS-Army, and other software platforms used by the organization.
Qualifications
  • U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance.
  • 6 years of experience in rotary wing aviation; preference for previous A/MH-6M experience.
  • Able to travel 1–2 weeks at a time for TDY assignments away from home station.
  • Willing to work second shift as required during assigned rotation.
  • Experience with ACN or other electronic logbook systems.
  • Own tools/toolbox.
  • Pass a basic physical for ground handling of aircraft and operating vehicles/equipment on the flight line.
