Movement Management Coordinator – In this role, you will coordinate ground transportation support for external requirements, verifying, validating, submitting, and reconciling all ground transportation support requests to ensure efficient support of garrison and deployment operations.
Responsibilities- Leverage AIS to centralize planning, tracking, management, and request material handling equipment (MHE), focusing on reducing customer wait time and maximizing logistical support for MARFORSOC worldwide.
- Track and manage the transportation of cargo and personnel using AIS, supporting the planning and execution of movements across air, land, and sea modes and providing status updates as required.
- Facilitate freight payment processes using the system of record, managing monthly billing cycles, real‑time tracking, automated matching, pre‑payment auditing, and ensuring integration with financial systems.
- Support procurement of commercial transportation services, analyze tenders from transportation service providers, rate/rank bids, compile qualifying TSP lists, cost estimates, and documentation for installation transportation offices (ITO).
- Knowledge of transporting hazardous materials, including compatibility requirements.

High School or GED equivalent and 8–12 years of progressive relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
Essential Functions &Physical Requirements
Work will be performed inside a large facility; assignments may require night and weekend work, occasional travel, and flexibility for surge situations. Physical tasks include sitting or standing for extended periods, using a phone and PC or laptop, filing, and lifting or carrying boxes up to 50 lbs. Adequate mobility for bending, reaching, turning, and kneeling is required.
Compensation$59,000 – $63,000
