ATS is looking for a qualified Network Administrator to support the Special Operations Mission Training Center Facility at Fort Bragg, NC.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Administer, configure, and maintain secure network infrastructure supporting the Special Operations Mission Training Center, ensuring reliable connectivity for mission command and training systems.
- Manage and troubleshoot Cisco-based network environments, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and compliance with DoD standards.
- Implement and enforce network security architecture, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and boundary defense mechanisms in accordance with Army and DoD cybersecurity policies.
- Monitor network performance and security posture, utilizing network management and diagnostic tools to identify, analyze, and resolve connectivity issues, vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.
- Detect and mitigate cyber threats and vulnerabilities, coordinating with cybersecurity personnel to implement corrective actions and maintain secure network operations.
- Maintain network configuration documentation and change management records, ensuring accurate diagrams, baselines, and compliance documentation for inspections and audits.
- Support mission command and training network integration, ensuring secure interoperability of systems within Joint and Army training environments.
- Operate in accordance with Secret clearance requirements, safeguarding sensitive network infrastructure and information.
- Associate degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent military training (e.g., 25B/H/N).
- Must possess a current certification that meets the requirements for DCWF Network Operations Specialist (441) at the Intermediate proficiency level.
- Acceptable certifications for the Network Operations Specialist (441) role include Security+, CCNA, or Network+.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the following areas (as evidenced by experience or training):
- Computer networking concepts and protocols.
- Cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Network security principles and architecture.
- Network systems management principles and tools.
- Network troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Configuration and maintenance of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Network security practices and technologies (VPNs, firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
- Three years' experience in a senior technical role on a DoD network.
- Extensive hands-on experience configuring and managing Cisco network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls), and VPNs.

The position requires strict adherence to Army physical security policies, discretion when handling sensitive information, constant attention to detail, and a strong customer‑service mindset while operating within controlled access areas and under Secret‑level security clearance requirements.
