Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Fort Bragg, California. This role is a 13-week travel assignment with start date 03/02/2026, offering 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts.

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients in the ICU, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer complex medications and treatments following critical care nursing protocols
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses; communicate changes to the appropriate provider
• Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, central venous pressure, pulmonary artery catheters)
• Educate patients and families about the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing education
• Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance ICU outcomes and efficiency
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope; adhere to hospital safety protocols

• One year of recent ICU RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications

• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
• TNCC, NIHSS certification
• Other certifications or licenses as required for the position
