DTRA is a combat support agency enabling the United States (U.S.) Government and its international partners to counter and deter Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). The DTRA mission is to safeguard the United States and its allies from global weapons of mass destruction and improvised threats by integrating, synchronizing and providing expertise, technologies and capabilities.
The ITD provides enabling and secure technologies, applications, and services anywhere, to our workforce, mission partners, and external customers to effectively deliver relevant data, information, and situational awareness to successfully perform the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction and Emerging Threats mission. This TO supports the ITD’s Mission Information Technology (IT-MT) Department. IT-MT enables innovation through an agile approach by providing reliable, resilient, secure, and adaptable mission information technology through implementation of technology solutions that directly support the Agency's mission and enhances communications and information sharing with our partners across the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction and emerging threats mission space.

IT-MT also manages DTRA ABQ regional IT Division responsible for delivering fixed and rapidly deployable IT network environments and engineering solutions providing mission enabling capabilities across all security enclaves in support of RD test events throughout DTRA test ranges.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

TEKsystems is seeking an Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician in Fort Belvoir, VA to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable DTRA’s Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRA’s internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proactive Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to support mission-critical federal IT infrastructure. You will monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and escalate incidents within federal networks and systems to ensure optimal performance and continuous availability. This role is part of a 24/7/365 operations environment and may require shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Primary focus will be on, handling internal projects for operations, supporting driving time-sensitive initiatives, supports ITIL service area activities (problem management, incident management, service request fulfillment, etc.)

and specific tasks to a successful conclusion, operations management, configuration/change management, service level agreements (SLA). This position requires U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance.

Primary Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess federal network infrastructure, systems, and applications using enterprise monitoring tools. Identify, assess, and respond to real-time network and system issues, ensuring timely resolution or proper escalation. Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Escalate to senior engineering staff if issue is not resolved. Document and execute incidents, changes, and resolutions accurately in ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now, Remedy).

Collaborate with federal and contractor teams including network engineers, cybersecurity analysts, and system administrators. Execute standard operating procedures and provide input to enhance operational documentation. Support compliance with…
