Position OverviewBy Light Professional IT Services (By Light) are leading providers of innovative Information Technology (IT) services and communications support to the Department of Defense and Federal Agencies. By Light is looking for personnel to support a U.S. Army information technology infrastructure program. The project includes conducting survey and design, engineer, furnish, install, secure, and test (EFIS&T) solutions to include non-secure internet protocol router (NIPR), secure internet protocol router (SIPR), Wi-Fi, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Inside Plant (ISP), Outside Plant (OSP), and Voice Modernization at U.S. Army Base/Post/Camp/Station (B/P/C/S) across the Continental United States (CONUS).
Responsibilities- Ensures the implementation production schedule is met.
- Ensures survey system resources are used effectively.
- Coordinates the resolution of survey-related problems.
- Ensures proper relationships are established between stakeholders to facilitate the delivery services.
- Supervises staff operations.
- Manages and executes the Integrated Master Schedule for on time delivery and conflict resolution.
- Bachelor's Degree. Additional four (4) years of relevant experience allowed in lieu of degree allowed.
- Five (5) years IMS experience with at least two (2) years leading scheduling personnel.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project (Server or Online) is required, with Microsoft Project certification(s) preferred.
- Demonstrated experience on programs with responsibility for development and execution of the IMS, including setup, baseline management and update/maintenance, schedule analysis, critical path analysis, task dependencies, and CDRL deliveries.
- Experience with schedule health metrics (e.g., DCMA 14-point check) and Schedule Metric Analysis - such as BEI, CPLI, SPI, etc.
- Must be available during core hours ) and available onsite at Fort Belvoir, as requested.
- Supported the U.S. Army or other Federal Agency.
- Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
- Capable of lifting up to 30lbs.
