Power Apps Developer with an Active Secret Clearance

Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking a Power Apps Developer with an Active Secret Clearance to assist a federal client in the DC Metropolitan area. This is a client-facing position and requires strong and clear communications, and the ability to set expectations.

• Design and develop custom applications using Microsoft’s Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Share Point
• Develop solutions on Office 365 – Teams, SharePoint, Forms, and Excel Online
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into functional applications that enhance efficiency and drive business outcomes
• Create dashboard visualizations and reports using Power BI
• Develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
• Connect data sources, import data, and transform data for business intelligence
• Apply analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals
• Integrate Power Apps solutions with other Microsoft services (SharePoint, Dynamics 365) and third-party platforms to enhance functionality and data flow
• Maintain, update, and support existing Power Apps applications to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Make DAX queries in Power BI Desktop and use advanced data calculations
• Design methodology and project documentation
• Develop tabular and multidimensional models compatible with data warehouse standards
• Document application development processes, including design specifications and user guides

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) from a four-year college or university
• Active Secret Clearance REQUIRED
• Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate)
• 5+ years of experience in data-specific roles
• Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft BI stack
• Software development skills to design custom applications meeting business requirements
• Experience with BI tools, specifically Power BI; knowledge of Qlik and Tableau is a plus
• Advanced data analytics skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to discuss requirements with client and internal teams

Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance. Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor a new clearance at this time.

This is a full-time position. This position is W-2 only; no C2C or 1099 candidates.
