As the Plans and Strategy Lead (PSL) supporting a national security program space war fighting mission, you willbe responsible for executing
Joint Planning Processes (JPP) and Combatant Command (COCOM) processes to transition desired strategies into daily
NOCoperations.
You will evolve
ICparticipation and contributionsforinteragency exercisesbyassessingthequality and effectiveness of training and implementinginformedchangeswithin procedures, orders, plans and other deliverable products.
As the senior planning team member, you will overseethe capture ofreal world and training“lessons-learned”tofacilitateleadership and decision-maker review and approval. A successful candidate willdemonstrateexpert mission and space operations experience to develop criteria for considerationofeffects-based operations against threats toICsystems.
Additional, the PSL will ensure teamlogisticalsupportforcontingency operations planning meetingsandworkshopsfor
ICand external partners’leadership.
- Lead teamshapingofstrategicorders, reports and otherplansdocumentswithsenior experience implementing
Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) and Joint Operational Planning and Execution Systems (JOPES) planning methodologies
- Development TTPs, COAsandcriteria fortheoptimizationof effect-based operations
- Adapt plans and procedure sin consideration ofongoing integration of Indication and Warning(I&W) systems and tool capabilities andadviseintegration efforts
- Determine effectiveness of current procedures and system capabilities;compile “lessons learned” frombothreal-worldeventsand exercises for improved procedural changes
- Maintain Awareness of current high-interest terrestrial and space-based activity effecting space domain,threat pattern of behavior as well asassetcollectionand mission priorities
- Plan,monitor and prioritizeoptimaleffects-based operations against threat toICassets
- Providelogisticalsupport for contingency operations planning meetings and workshops
- Identify and inform decision-makers ofany system, procedural or intelligence gapsandassumptions that may pose a risk to mission success
- Work full-time on-site at a government facility in Springfield,VA
