Overview
Leidos’ Defense Sector is seeking a Program Analyst to support the planning, coordination, and execution of complex programs. In this role, you will work as part of a collaborative team to track performance, support reporting, manage schedules, and help identify and mitigate risks. Your contributions will support stakeholders by ensuring programs remain aligned with objectives, timelines, and priorities. This position is contingent upon program award, anticipated late February to mid March.
This posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience. Level of opportunity, including compensation, will be matched to a candidate’s experience.
Primary Responsibilities- Assist in the development and maintenance of the program's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Microsoft Project.
- Track program milestones, deliverables, risks, and action items to ensure deadlines are met and issues are escalated appropriately.
- Support the preparation of program status reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for program-level meetings.
- Coordinate the collection and consolidation of data from various project teams to support program performance reporting.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and other program documentation.
- Interface with cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, contracts) to facilitate the flow of information and resolve moderately complex issues.
- Work independently on assigned tasks and projects, providing thorough analysis and clear communication of results.
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ or 4+ years of prior relevant experience OR Master's degree with less than 2 years or 2+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
- Familiarity with program management and control principles, including scheduling, risk management, and performance analysis within a government contracting environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence team members and present complex information clearly.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Project and Excel.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience supporting complex projects or programs in regulated or structured environments.
- Familiarity with operational, technical, or analytical concepts that support decision-making and coordination.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a software, technology, or systems-focused environment.
- Exposure to contractual, sourcing, or vendor management processes.
- Proficiency with common collaboration and project management tools such as SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Pay Range $59,150.00 - $. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
