The Maintenance Assistant performs machine troubleshooting, repair, and routine inspections to ensure equipment efficiency on the third shift. They follow preventative maintenance schedules, adhere to safety protocols including lockout/tagout, and maintain cleanliness in work areas. The role requires at least three years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, with preference for knowledge of corrugated sheet plant machinery.

Duties

• Helping troubleshoot and repair machines and equipment.
• Inspect machines routinely to ensure proper function and efficiency.
• Follow a set PM schedule and procedure on all equipment.
• Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
• Adhere to lockout tagout procedure and preforms all work safely.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years maintenance assistant experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with in the corrugated industry and knowledge of machinery used in sheet plants is a plus but not mandatory.
